I am a asian emo girl who really want to get poofy hair on the top. I have long black hair and I tryed making it poofy but it wont seem to poof up. I think it is because I have silky hair. I donno please help me out. Thanks

O I'd kill to have non poofy hair but there are a ton of volumizing products out there you could try like mousses and hairsprays and you could also try Sunsilks anti flat shampoo and conditioner. You can get all these products at the pharmacy

Have you tried teasing your hair at the crown then spraying Auqa Net hair spray on the area that you teased? This really works on my hair and I have super thin hair.

go to the hairdresser and ask them to give you LOTS of layers, especially at the top

then, use heaps of hairspray to poof it up

and then if you want huge hair you can use a teasing comb

i know this is going to sound weird but i have very long straight hair that always lays flat.....try blow drying it up side down... turn head upside down and blow dry it from your head down and the flip it over mist a small amount of hairspray on it.. don't use to much because any products s going to weigh hair down good luck!

like what kind of poofy like afro poofy? if thats the case just get plats or box braids on the top of your hair, or cornrows and then let in sit in a day or so and then take it out and it will be really poofy except if you got long hair it will just be wavy and poofy, but im filipino and i get cornrows all the time so when my friend takes it out it turns into an asian fro thingy if its short like 5 or six inches it will look like an afro puff!!
