I'd like a new hair cut?

i have black hair and it reaches half of my back ... but im bored of this haircut ...i'd like something a little bit crazy like punk or emo but that it also looks pretty =) . My hair is not totally straight so i wonder if it is a good idea to straight it permanently?? help me please =]

Whats your hair type, first off. do you have bangs, side bangs, curly hair. etc. you should add details telling about your hair type
