I don't label myself, but people always tell me I'm emo. So I just go alone with it. WHAT MAKES ME EMO?!
I can tell you what I look like... I kinda changed my hair recently..
-I have like..2 tattoos
-A lip ring
-Short choppy haircut with neon colors in it
-I still shop at regular places... forever21, kohl's, macy's..pac sun..etc
-I still wear dresses
-I have my ears pierced if that matters..
-I like screaming and metal music. And rock.. and hip hop....and rap
-I don't cut myself
-I like a lot of eye make up (eyeliners in different colors,...lip gloss...mascara....eyeshadow)...

scene ppl are ppl who are punk almost goth/emo who dye their hair abnormal colors and cut it short (when oyur a girl)
lip rings are odd (bad for making out)
scene people find scene clothes at normal stores
the screamign and metal music just menas you like it but you also listen to hip hop and rp so that ok

but to be truefull emo means emotoinally scared i am emo but i don't act like it i was almost killed once but still I seem to be one of the least emo like person in my school cause i am a nonstereotypical emo

Am I considered EMO?? I had pink hair in high school and went to punk shows, and the little emo kids used to talk to me all the time because they thought I was like them. So I guess I looked emo. I was in high school when this emo **** started. Now, it sounds more like I was more of a "scene girl."
I'm pretty girly, so not to look emo with my pink hair, I still dressed girly and wore bright, fun things.
Just don't wear all black and whine about life, and you won't look emo.
Anyway, I'm in college now. I've changed so much since high school. It doesn't matter what people thought you were. You'll figure it out eventually.
