ok so she dyed her hair black and blonde and she quit hangin out with all her same friends and she lisen to emo scremo music stuff like that and she not the same and shes hangin out with ''emo" kids and wearin emo clothes ans she wears eyeliner ALL the time and she has her hair in front of her eye

ok well i have lots of friends like that. she may just do it to fit in. you should talk to her and be calm don't freak out cuz then it will make it worse. take it from my point of view my best friend is like that too... but she is not emo! mm, pretty much, but dont worry about it.

just remember that she is a person, same as all the other kids. it might be just a phase so dont be too worried. at least she is doing something she likes and feels comfortable with. she is just trying to fit in. but i would worry if she starts cutting her wrists. draw the line there.

Oh god, its just a dumb phase teens go through now. You were a teen once, you probably went through one. She'll snap out of it someday.

With how many times you defined all of her interests as emo I would say so. There's not really a problem with what she is interested in or how she dresses unless her friends and her are getting in to trouble (drugs, vandalism, loitering) or she is clinically depressed or otherwise needs medical attention. She may not be the little girl you imagined, but she is still your little girl. Make sure to let her know how much you love her and not criticize her unless she is actually doing something wrong, not just something you wouldn't choose (if she's dressing in black and watching movies it's better than dressing in pink and driving drunk). If you are too critical she will have the opportunity all too soon to move out and forget about her happy childhood and focus only on a combative mother when she was a teenager.
