Hair Idea/Help ?

I Want a change of style, at the moment i have quite longish dark brown hair, and want a shorter as some people call it 'emo' style. something like that of Jared Leto or Oli Sykes. i have NO idea what to say to the hairdresser though as its kind of sweeped to the side and different lengths. im a male btw lol

I'd find a picture of a style that I liked a lot and show it to the hairdresser. I think if you show them what you want it makes it easier in case your misunderstood while explaining!

Take a picture with you. Show what you really like and what you really don't care for. Show on your head where you 'd like the hair to fall and always tell a cut off point as in "no shorter than this". Be sure that the stylist repeats back to you and listen carefully, correct them if they are wrong. A picture is always good help, but remember depending on your hair texture and density it will not look exactly the same. You will also have to be open to product ideas too. We know which products will help achieve your style and what not. Good luck! I wish I could do it, I love fun cuts!
