Am I considered EMO??

I don't label myself, but people always tell me I'm emo. So I just go alone with it. WHAT MAKES ME EMO?!

I can tell you what I look like... I kinda changed my hair recently..

-I have like..2 tattoos

-A lip ring

-Short choppy haircut with neon colors in it

-I still shop at regular places... forever21, kohl's, macy's..pac sun..etc

-I still wear dresses

-I have my ears pierced if that matters..

-I like screaming and metal music. And rock.. and hip hop....and rap

-I don't cut myself

-I like a lot of eye make up (eyeliners in different colors,...lip gloss...mascara....eyeshadow)...

soooooooo...........What's emo exactly? loool. I don't get this world..

i would call you a scene person

scene ppl are ppl who are punk almost goth/emo who dye their hair abnormal colors and cut it short (when oyur a girl)

lip rings are odd (bad for making out)

scene people find scene clothes at normal stores

the screamign and metal music just menas you like it but you also listen to hip hop and rp so that ok

im so proud of you for not cutting yourself whoevr does is it the most jacked up person i have evr met

natural colors are better for people it makes them look natural not birth defected....haha jkjk

Well..... If wouldn't call you EMO at all. Most of the time EMO is slang to describe a guy that dresses like a girl and cuts'burns hilmself to feel good. If you're EMO then so am I......

-It sounds like it could be labeled 'scene' or 'emo'.

-Where you shop has nothing to do with anything. It's what you buy, is why peole are judging you.

-Dresses can also be taken different ways, again it's how you carry yourself.

-Your music is a prefrence and nothing more in the eyes of others. Or-it shouldn't be.

-Don't associate cutters with emo.

-Eyemakeup is pretty-it's your style do as you please.

omg a stereotypical emo has an emo flip with sometimes odd and unatural colors in their hair, cuts him or her self and maybe some tatoos and peircings

but to be truefull emo means emotoinally scared i am emo but i don't act like it i was almost killed once but still I seem to be one of the least emo like person in my school cause i am a nonstereotypical emo

The word emo is used way to much... I have been called emo before and I am a surfer... I dont think anyone knows the true meaning of emo and I think it is just a stupid word. I wouldnt worry about what everyone calls you my friend sounds alot like you and she isnt "emo". So no I dont think you are emo either.

So dress with lots and lots of personality regardless of what people say! Emo = Emotional. Are you? If not, your not emo. Understand?

I love people who can pull off your look. I wish I could, but it just doesn't fit me. Enjoy who you are and never put a label on yourself! =)

I had pink hair in high school and went to punk shows, and the little emo kids used to talk to me all the time because they thought I was like them. So I guess I looked emo. I was in high school when this emo **** started. Now, it sounds more like I was more of a "scene girl."

I'm pretty girly, so not to look emo with my pink hair, I still dressed girly and wore bright, fun things.

Just don't wear all black and whine about life, and you won't look emo.

Anyway, I'm in college now. I've changed so much since high school. It doesn't matter what people thought you were. You'll figure it out eventually.
