i cut my wrists, and i guess i wear black often. but i dont have black hair. my isnt not long either. i dont paint my fingernails black or dark purple. i have glasses. why in the world do people call me emo? im not emo!! hell its only the one wrist! and its only when im upset, not like i do it for fun or something stupid like that. my hair is curly not straight, and i wear regular shoes. HOW AM I EMO???

Don't know what emo is, but i am a self injurer (cutting specifically.) until i started talking to trusted people about my feelings, i was unable to deal with them any other way. let it come out of your mouth, not your skin. try putting an ice cube on your skin directly or snapping a rubber band on your skin when you get the urge. you are not alone, and there are great web sites that talk about it. educate yourself.
