and I'm not sure if he would be a good emo (this will sound superficial)hes kinda nerdy and his hair is short he has glasses ( but i know thats ok) he loves spiderman and is pretty random. I'm trying to help him. do you think he can do it?

Tell him what you think about it but sometimes it actually turns out good for that person because there's been people that were really nerdy and not popular and then they became emo and worn the clothes and had the hair and stuff and they just get more girls and then more friends but other times it might not work out and he could just end up embarrassing himself and then he'd be more depressed but yeah its his decision and maybe if he changes something he won't be so depressed. And also this depends on the person but emos can become like obsessed with their problems and become jerks and stuff too.

emo people are the kind of people who start crying if they run out of milk or something really little like that. it means emotional. you wouldn't become emo you would become a poser goth. your friend should just be himself

He'll look like a poser considering he completely changed his image over night. NO OFFENSE!!! I don't like it when people label other people... Seriously don't use them and just keep an open mind. When you do, you're already judging someone on account of what they look like and you don't even know them. So you prolly wouldn't take the time to find out what they're like. I'm 'different', but I'm self- acclaimed as weird. So tell me....If you saw me walking down the street the strangest clothes ever that don't match what label would you come up with for me? Retard? Or maybe it's just someone who wants to be different from our conforming society.

I hope not...emo's are conforming *****. I mean this question in of itself is HILARIOUS "how to be emo" when emo is supposedly not conforming to soceity's standards. LOL As a woman I will just say this- besides the ugly scene and emo girls NO ONE WANTS to date an emo dude. I already have a pu**y I don't need another one. Also emo's are fake *** whiney bastards with no real problems who like to make believe they have issues. Go work at a homless shelter or a battered womens shelter. Volunteer in Africa to help fight AIDS THEN tell me how your life is "oh so hard"

he could be emo but he has 2 change a lil or a lot lol he has 2 grow his hair. he can keep the glasses but he has 2 have the wide rimmed ones thst are black and stay depressed. like me . cept i dont have glasses yet and tell him if hes gonna be emo 2 loose spiderman

My daughter wanted to go emo too. I let her dress the way she wanted and get a tongue %26amp; lip piercing. She took them both out in 6 months and went back normal. It's a stage. If you condone it they will want to do it more.
