Ok ive always loved the style emo but all my friends are preppy.. im not saying there is anything wrong with either style but there is a difference between the emo style and the actual emo emo. wen eva i were my emo clothes to skool or get a new hair cut all mi girrlz freak out and judge me, i dont care what they think and they say " emos dont hang out with girly chickz" and i think the way you dress doesnt say how someone always acts, not that i act like them. do you think the girly groups should blend? do u think im rite?

Me and my girls dressed like both emo and girly girls and even sometimes ghetto. WHO CARES WHAT NE ONE THINKS???? Tell them it doesnt matter what you wear your still you and that they should even experiment with style...its so much fun to dress up and look diff everyday!!! I try all diff kinds of stuff, european style, the new sailor look that was out, preppy, emo and dark, professional like in pencil skirts! Keep dressing how you feel, later on in life you will realize that it was a good idea to dress how you feel and you'll be more wordly! Try and make friends with everyone too. I did I hung out with all the groups, the more people do this the more closer we will be to blending together the groups!!!!

To me it sounds like they aren't the truest of friends. Just because you dress differently doesn't mean they should diss your style. If they really are your friends, they shouldn't care how you dress and accept you for who you are. I really could care less how my friends dress. It's really not that important. There are much more important things like if they are nice to me and if I can count on them. Everyone has the right to dress however they want to.

i went through an emoish fase last yr cuz i thoguht it was cool.. but then i came out form werin just black and i am coinsidered a prep by a bunch ppl. lol.. i am on that track team,in stuff.. but i still luv my music and wear skulls i just dont go full emo(i wear other bright colors and ribbons in my hair 2).. its a life/personal choice.. dont let pl choose it for you.. and hang out with all ppl.. not cuz of what they wear but how thay act... i have loads of friends and i will talk to any one.. thats why ppl like me.. you never know who are your real friends. hang out with ppl that arnt emo and that are and you never know one could turn otu to be your best foiend and is nothing like you ...

i think theat it is wrong to judge people. bu i also think that it is wrong to be a way especailly as serious as emo is with out a real reason. i mean if you had a bunch of tradgedies in your life sure, they should except htat

my freind went goth, cuz she liked the style, now her and all her emo peeps talk bad about me, and spread rumor, and throw gravel at me in gym...not so lol

Take it from me, i am a mixture of everything. Punk,Prep,Emo,Goth,Skater, and Alternative/Rock. If people are your true friends they wouldn't care how you dress or do your hair.. I have prep/emo hair and i dress Punk/goth.. i have many different friends and we all get along.. i act the same around every one and it makes people feel better about having me around.. If you want to have a peice of hair in front of one of your eyes go for it!! i have a friend who is prep skater and he has an emo hair cut and every one still treats him the same.. Go for it!! You will find out who your true friends are. And i am girly and Emos hang all over me. It's fine. dont worry about what other people say.. especially if they are stupid and shallow. kk %26lt;3me.

If you like the style then stick with it. If your classmates call you a poser or whatever, then they are just superficial losers. 'Emo' is not a race. You cannot be called an emo just for the way you dress. I personally like to wear black a lot, and people have called me emo once or twice before, but as long as you know that it's not true, then it's not. There's no point lying to yourself.

Unless you actually do have emotional issues and actually do do the things your classmates say you do, there is absolutely no problem with dressing emo.

You need to question yourself. Do you like emo? Are you comfortable with emo clothes? Does that express who you are. Do you feel ok about being emo? why do you like being emo?why? why? why? Think about why you want to where emo. Think about what emo means and ask your friends why they disagree with you? take there anwsers in consideration. Think about what they said. Now if you like emo,your friends should accept you as you are or there not your friends

Don't listen to what they say. The way you look doesn't exactly say who you are. If your "friends" think you shouldn't dress that way because it doesn't make you look /preppy/. How are they your friends? Think about that.
