Hello, I was just wondering, what is the best Flat Iron to get. I am in need of stright hair to go with my new emo look.. Har har.. [scarcasm]

I would just like something new other the curls that I have. It's jsut time for a little change, is that such a bad thing?

I am 75% White and 25% Black/Hispanic..

I have slightly curly hair and I would like it stright,

Also, I wondering, whehn I get a Flat Iron, Do I have to do it like everyday or so? If so, that's okay. I just don't have time likebefore I go to shcool. Unless I wake up like 2 hours to get ready, and I would like to keep my sleep.. D: I love my hair, but it is ot worth spending time on if I can get more sleep! ^-^

Also, when i am goin to buy one, the cost is not really a problem. I just don't know what one to get because there areo so many! Like, I just get lost! I don't know what they all do!

Thought I think I need a 1' Inch one so I can get near my roots.

Chi is my favorite. It costs a lot but lasted me a few years. It recently broke so I got a cheaper Hot Tools one that doesn't work as well at all.

It gets at least 25 to 30 degrees hotter than other ones on the market and is made up of 34 different types of ceramic, creating a more refined ceramic. You don't have to straighten your hair everyday, the style will stay until you wash out your hair but you might have to do touch ups on the second day or so.

The CHI iron is the best out there right now. I just bought one that has claims at being better. I haven't given it the test yet. The CHI has ceramic boards on it that work with negative ions that are healthier for your hair. The wattage of the CHI is lower but it puts out a lot of heat and at the same time it is less damaging to your hair. If money is not an issue then go get one.............you'll love it! It works fast too. Section your hair off and work in layers up the back of your head and then do the front last.

I have a "spiral" curl to my hair and did a reverse perm on it. Went to the beauty supply got a straightener put the first solution on my hair combed it straight for about 5 minutes. Did the second step shampooed it out and left a very rich conditioner on for 20 minutes and then blew dry it straight. After that it only took about 10 minutes to straighten it after the shower. Only draw back is that it's harder to get it curly back and has to grow out.
